{"id":177,"date":"2020-01-21T15:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-01-21T20:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ayling.tech\/blog\/?p=177"},"modified":"2020-01-21T09:00:46","modified_gmt":"2020-01-21T14:00:46","slug":"proposed-flag-of-the-state-of-new-hampshire-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shortbooks.online\/blog\/2020\/proposed-flag-of-the-state-of-new-hampshire-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Proposed flag of the State of New Hampshire"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Yesterday, I posted a proposed flag of New Hampshire that meets some more of the good design principles of flag design. <a href=\"http:\/\/ayling.tech\/blog\/index.php\/2020\/01\/20\/proposed-flag-of-the-state-of-new-hampshire\/\">See that post for more information<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Brian Cham (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/briancham1994.com\/2014\/07\/02\/proposed-flag-of-new-hampshire\/\" target=\"_blank\">Brian Cham<\/a> made some comments about the design of my New Hampshire flag, which I think were quite right. My wife also suggested that it was not &#8220;flag-like&#8221;. Given a few hours of rumination, I have now modified that design slightly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have added two more mountains, to make the &#8220;White Mountains&#8221;, plural, rather than just one mountain, and I have moved the granite from a lower part of the mountain, to a bar that goes under the whole state.
